Every link, right where it belongs.

BrowThere sits between your apps and your browsers. Click a link in Slack, Mail or Teams and it opens in the right browser, profile or Arc space, picked by your rules or from a picker you call up with ⌥.

Profiles, not just browsers.

Work account in one Chrome profile, personal in another, a client in Helium? BrowThere reads the profiles you already have, with their names, emails and colors, and treats each one as a destination.

  • Found for you in Chrome, Edge, Brave, Vivaldi, Helium and other Chromium browsers, and in Firefox, Zen and other Gecko browsers.
  • Arc spaces show up like profiles, and links open as a new tab in that space.
  • Anything else can be added by hand, with a profile folder, a profile name or your own launch arguments.

Rules that read like sentences.

Match a domain, a domain plus a path like gitlab.com/my-group, the full URL, a wildcard or a regex, or the app the link came from. Combine conditions, then send matches to any browser, profile, space or app.

  • Rules are checked from the top, and the first match wins.
  • Open matches in a private window, in Zoom, Figma or Slack, or show the picker.
  • Paste any link into the built-in tester to see which rule catches it.

Links arrive clean.

Before anything opens, BrowThere unwraps redirect links so your rules see the real site, and drops tracking parameters you never asked for.

  • Unwraps Outlook and Teams Safe Links, plus Google, Facebook, Instagram, Slack, LinkedIn and YouTube redirects.
  • Strips utm_*, fbclid, gclid, YouTube's si and more.
  • Add your own: a name, a prefix*, or domain:name for one site.

So light you'll forget it's running.

BrowThere is native Swift, with no web view and no timers running in the background. It waits for a link, routes it in a few milliseconds, and goes back to sleep. The whole app is a 2 MB download.

  • Opens at login and stays out of the way in the menu bar, or hidden entirely.
  • A link that's already open in a profile lands as a tab in that window, not a new one.
